Only have to get through Towson, UNCW, Charleston, and Hofstra. No problem

Agree with your theme but Think Drexel knocks out Hofstra

So, both lower seeds win today, with Hampton's 56-55 victory over Elon. Hopefully, the "it doesn't pay to wear white" theme will continue tomorrow.

Gonna need more than a win over Towson to be considered for an at large bid.

Gabe was only 3-16 for 3 point shooting and we missed many layups.

Time to travel to DC and support the players as their efforts deserve it

Support the players. That is why wife and I drove up as always from Chesapeake. And I was afraid that if we did not drive up, I would miss a miracle!! We could certainly use some company.

Adding to this..

I was reminded today how much I really like this arena. They did add a cool looking like… market and performance area next door that I didn’t check out to. Will help the surround area, but I just think the arena itself is right for what this league is right now.

And the staff inside and outside of the arena have been a 10 out of 10 every year imo too.

Session attendance for the Friday intro round was 1,706, not bad for the leagues four worst teams.

The Flo Sports commentators mentioned the W&M crowd's enthusiasm more than once. Keep it up today!

RE: CAA men’s Tourney
Gotta give Dane credit, he is a good play in game coach with 3 wins. Based on that, we can now call the opening round, the Keener/Rowe/Fischer invitational. Another win today could make him the first coach in CAA history to have at least 4 career tournament wins without ever winning a quarterfinal game. Not a record you want, but still interesting.

Finally, no team has ever won more games in its tournament than it did all regular season.

RE: CAA men’s Tourney
What started as a fairly competitive game, has turned into a 15 point lead, courtesy of two long Campbell scoring droughts, as Monmouth leads the Camels 46-31 at the Half.

So, Monmouth, without too much problem, over Campbell, 90 -67.

I like our energy and hustle to start the game. Confidence is there. But 3 point shooting is not … yet at least. And we’ll see about the free throws.

Let’s see how Dane and coaches handle sub patterns. Need to have fresh bodies out there to keep hustling and banging.

Refs are letting them play. Seems like Towson is hitting us every time we try to make a cut or move. I’m fine with that as long as the refs are consistent. But it does mean we’ve gotta match their intensity on our defensive side.

RE: CAA men’s Tourney
Towson, as usual, relentless attacking the offensive board. Gotta box out today and get a little help from the Refs with some calls.

If you’re only tracking on this board, find a way to watch this game. We’re up by 1 at the under 8 break in the first half. But, we’re playing like a team and sticking with this rough Towson group. We need our 3’s to start falling. But some good finishes around the rim!

Refs are letting them play. Only 5 total fouls called in the first 17 minutes.
