Absolutely no ball movement on those last plays.

The ball movement and crisp passing vs the zone early in the game dissipated and reverted to the same old, same old.

Elon played a 2-3 zone in the first half and played straight man defense in the 2nd half. We didn't seem to know how to play against man to man defense.

In addition to the Tribe's awful free throw shooting, particularly on the front end of 1-1, Elon's free throw misses in the first half resulted in baskets for them on at least 2 occasions, and once it was a 3.

RE: MBB #30 @ Elon
You know its bad when on the way out of the gym last night I overheard Elon fans saying that it wasn't pretty, but at least they got to see Elon win for the second time this season.

Quiet gymnasium. After a foul call on Elon late in the game, a fan cursed the ref, and the ref insisted they throw him out of the arena. The refs reviewed the play, so I ran up to the men's room during the stoppage. A deputy sheriff was in there waiting for the exiled fan to finish his business. They both remarked that this was the first time they had seen someone thrown out of a game. At most gyms the ref wouldn't have been able to hear one fan curse about a call.

Not much of a crowd at the game to witness two teams going nowhere. Oh well, there were no lines for concessions and they let students 21 and over bring beer into the student section.

The frisbee catching dogs were great. I didn't know a little corgi mix could run that fast and jump that high.

I cannot think of a more apt microcosm for Dane's tenure.
